Summer Solstice: Lessons From The Akasha

Summer Solstice: Lessons From The Akasha

That summer solstice sun has me feeling all the playful light vibes. Other than the massive headache I woke up with this morning that I’m pretty sure is cosmic in nature.

My deepening attunement causes me to feel every shift and change in my physical body. It’s beautiful and sometimes a tad annoying, but mostly beautiful.

I was reflecting the other day on one of the themes that has been coming up recently in the Akashic Record sessions. I find it so interesting that every single session is SO DIFFERENT and yet, there will still be common threads that rise up from time to time.

These last few weeks there’s been a theme of lightness of being. For some people spirit said “it’s really not that serious” for others spirit said “it’s time to bring in more play and joy to become your highest self” in countless variations with different reasons and origins.

But the undercurrent of the messages were to bring an air of lightness into what feels heavy. Not for everyone, but for many.

I find it intriguing that I continue to see themes that play into the seasonal and/or cosmic energy we’re in at the time. A reflection of a knowing that when we attune to nature—which is just one face of God, Spirit, a Higher Power, etc—we THRIVE.

Nature tells us (in the North) that Spring & Fall are times for active yang energy. The months for planting our physical and metaphorical seeds and reaping the harvest. Where the environment supports more physical labor.

Winter and Summer balance us out by giving us our restful internal and external yin phases. Summer itself is very anti 21st century. A time for pause, relaxation and fun that allows all the hard work of Spring to grow and amplify on its own. It’s a time to watch the crops grow (without doing anything). I find patience is a hard pill to swallow in our modern culture so as the days and hot sun are still long, decreasing by the day, we can want to cram in more and more work, but summer was meant to be slow and easy.

Summer is your invitation to cultivate patience for the things that you feel desperate for asking yourself instead “what is the “need” for these things to transpire teaching me about myself?”.

While not as deeply introspective as winter, summer is still at time for pause and light reflections—bearing witness to all the things we learned through our actions in Spring.

As you find yourself feeling the pressure to do more, have more, be more in the summer—remember the theme that’s presenting itself from the wisdom of the records—the complete history and recording of our souls through all time—that it’s time, for now, to lighten up.

For some, this will continue beyond the summer—the need to be more airy and spirited, but the initiation and invitation is now.
